First Nations and local governments are invited to apply for grant funding to bring together elected officials from neighbouring communities under the 2015/16 Regional Community to Community (C2C) Forum program.
The goal of C2C Forums is to increase understanding and improve overall relations between First Nations and local governments. Events are intended to provide a time and place for dialogue on issues of common responsibility or interest.
SQUAMISH, B.C. – Squamish is about to get a little healthier thanks to a Healthy Communities Collaboration Agreement endorsed by the District of Squamish and Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH). The agreement was recently endorsed by District of Squamish Council, paving the way for new partnership opportunities to address, improve and coordinate community health policy, land use planning and programming decisions.
